steel fabrication and steel fabricating services

Supreme Group’s steel fabrication capabilities are the foundation of our operations across Canada and the United States. Our seven manufacturing facilities have the varied ability to fabricate structural steel, bridges, pipe spools, pressure vessels, and miscellaneous steel.

With facilities across Canada and into the United States, Supreme Group is able to maximize our capacity for output by distributing work among all our fabrication shops, enabling our teams to more easily meet your project timelines. In total, our facilities share a combined fabrication capacity of 160,000 tonnes/year spread across our seven structural shops that together make up nearly 550,000 square feet of shop fabrication space. Our heavy lifting capacity is in excess of 100 tonnes. Additionally, we complete upwards of 32,000 inch-diameter of welding production per month at its expanded pipe fabrication facility.

Our philosophy on project execution is to achieve lowest total installed cost while achieving the specified quality standards. We fabricate for construction efficiencies and deliver erectable packages for just-in-time installation. It is critical to apply Lean Principles to the overall project execution process, not just discrete disciplines such as steel manufacturing. We do this every day, and we are known for our Generations of Trusted Steel Expertise.

Electronic Model Integration

The virtual model is used for more than just Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) processing. The model is also used for accurate and efficient lay-out of complicated assemblies. Integrating the electronic model into the operation of our steel shops has allowed Supreme Group to increase productivity and precision. It’s about getting it done right the first time, and we deliver.
