Centennial Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies

CCIS

The Centennial Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies (CCIS) is an eight-storey building at the University of Alberta campus. Midwest Constructors erected over 1000 tons of steel supplied by Supreme Steel Edmonton. Steel work included penthouses with pipe supports and platforms on the tops of the building’s three towers, a link to the north lecture theatre, bridges between building towers, curtain wall steel, and vestibule steel at the entrances. Several areas in the building will exhibit the steel as an architecturally exposed feature.
