Canron Portland is fabricating the steel (4150 tons) for the new head office for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a Sellen Construction project. The project consists of two “horseshoe-shaped” buildings, which will have exterior glass walls positioned to allow people from one building to see the people in the other building. The Bill & Melinda Gates foundation presently has 626 employees in four separate buildings around the Seattle area. Once the building is complete in late 2010, all of the foundation's employees will move into this new location.
